Instagram user Adrian D., (@cosplayorbust) changed the X-Men leader Cyclops/Scott Summers to DC’s Dark Knight.
DC’s Batman and Marvel’s Cyclops are now one character hybrid “Cybat,” in some epic cosplay.
Posted onto Instagram by user Adrian D. (@cosplayorbust) and with photography by BC Photography (@bryantcoxphotography), the “Cybat” cosplay reinvents DC’s Dark Knight as one of the founding members of Marvel’s X-Men, Cyclops. The caption reads: “With great power comes great responsibility.”

The Instagram video also features the XMen: The Animated Series song, as well as displaying the iconic features of DC’s Batsuit, Cyclops visor mask and glowing eyes. Adrian D. posted other Batman cosplay images and videos, including a second look at the “Cybat”.
Cyclops and Batman’s most recent Marvel and DC Adventures
The comic was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby The character first came to prominence in 1963’s X-Men#1. Cyclops, a long-time leader of the titular mutants, and a member of that team’s management, has had his world turned upside down by Mister Sinister after Sins of Sinister. The story has largely concentrated on the main villain, the Quiet council of Krakoa and a few others, though Cyclops and a number of other X-Men have also made regular appearances through a period of over 1,000 years as the entire world becomes trapped in a reality Sinister invented and later transformed into a permanent reality.
The character was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, Batman/Bruce Wayne first appeared in 1939’s Detective Comics#27. Batman is one of DC’s core trio alongside Superman and Wonder Woman, and a regular character in Justice League is one of the most recognizable and well-known superheroes.

In recent continuity, Batman’s solo series has thrust Bruce into a completely different version of Gotham City following an intense fight against a new robot-powered villain named Failsafe. In Batman#133, Chip Zdarsky (by Mike Hawthrone), Adriano Di Benedetto (by Tomeu Morey, Tomeu Cowles, and Clayton Cowles), Bruce encountered a red-suited version of the Riddler who had a question mark tattooed across his face. He also faced two faces, a Venom-addicted Harvey and Two Face , and ended up in caves under the city where Catwoman/Se Tim Drake/Robin was the witness to Bruce’s disappearance when they were fighting Failsafe and has decided since then to help Bruce.
Batman’s other main DC series, Detective Comics which has pitted the Dark Knight against a sinister family known as the Orghams. The Orghams’ plans for Gotham City are not fully publicized, however they have released demonic creatures known as Azmer. Talia al Ghul and Mister Freeze also have prominent parts in the Ram V series. Two-Face, who recently revealed Batman’s secret identity, is another character who plays a significant role in the series.
