Reddit cosplayers u/onceupontrash shared the photos of two actors portraying Jujutsu Kaisen’s Satoru Geto and Suguru Gojo, who are celebrating Christmas. Geto wears his most festive Christmas attire, sporting a red blazer and all-black pants Gojo is wearing a Santa Claus hat with an ugly sweater. With a smile of pearly white and a playful finger, Gojo, the Gojo cosplayer proudly gives Geto an unforgettable present that includes a statue of Gojo’s most beloved buddy, Gojo, himself. Unfortunately, Geto looks unimpressed and is just five seconds away from throwing the item all over the place.

Gojo and Geto’s Complex Friendship
Gojo and Geto met in their second year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. They quickly became best friends. They eventually fell out over the loss of a friend, leading to different views on roles in the jujutsu community. Gojo and Geto remain on opposite sides for several years. Gojo sought to shield the world from the Cursed Spirits while Geto wanted to create a place where only jujutsu sorcerers or curse users could rule the world.
Jujutsu Kaisen has over 70 million copies available at the time of its release in August 2022. 21 tankobon copies as of December 2022. Gege Akutami wrote Jujutsu Kaisen. It follows Yuji Itadori after he eats the finger Sukuna’s deadly Curse. The man is condemned to be executed. Gojo recommends that he be executed instead. Instead of having him execute, Gojo recommends that Yuji be taken in as a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He will be taught to swallow all Sukuna’s fingers. When he has that ability, they can execute Yuji and kill Sukuna. An anime adaptation, created by MAPPA was released in October 2020 where it ran for 24 episodes. The prequel movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was released one year later. It made more than 13 billion yen at the box office, making it the 14th highest-earning Japanese film up to September 2022.

In February 2021, the Akutami previously said that the manga will likely end in the two years to come, but they added they did not have confidence in their statement. Akutami wrote in a letter to Jump Festa 2023 that he would love to keep you with him for as long (probably) as he’d like.
Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 are available on Crunchyroll. Season 2 will premiere in July 2023.
