Reddit images depict the hybrids of the devil and humans pretending to be best buddies while enjoying the sights at D-mop outlets and McDonald’s. Cosplayers dress as characters from the series such as Aki or Makima and wear their topknots and yellow contacts. Jasozi said the outfit of Chainsaw Man is constructed largely of PVC pipes, as well as other objects. The head features an unattachable knife and speakers that play the roar of the chainsaw.

Jasozi shared the images on the same day that the Chainsaw Man anime dropped its season finale titled “KATANA VS. CHAINSAW.” The episode concluded the manga’s “Katana Man” arc” featuring the main character Denji getting his rematch against the titular antagonist. MAPPA has yet to announce a new season, despite the show’s favorable public reception and critics’ positive reviews. Its popularity and faithfulness in the manga have earned it a spot on CBR’s list of the top anime of 2022. The studio has many stories to be told in future episodes. Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga is in its 12th volume.
Chainsaw Man’s popularity led to an abundance of cosplay. Jasozi is joined by many artists who have displayed their appreciation for the series by portraying the beloved characters. Cavin Creations’ grueling Chainsaw Man cosplay featured a trio of fully functional blades. Low-Cost Cosplay also revealed his adorable Pochita costume that even attracted the interest of Shihei Lin, the editor of Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man is about Denji the anti-hero who receives Pochita’s heart from his Chainsaw Devil dog Pochita. The mafia-related debt of his deceased father has left him in the dumpster. Denji is now able to transform into Chainsaw Man. The ability to change into Chainsaw Man, tries to remain a normal person while hunting devils in Japan’s Public Safety division. It’s not as easy as anticipated when devil hunters such as Katana Man come looking for the Chainsaw Devil’s heart, placing Denji in the crosshairs.
The debut season of Chainsaw Man is available to stream on Crunchyroll. The manga is distributed across North America by VIZ Media.
