Unicorn Astronaut, a popular cosplayer, blends the holiday season with Demon Slayer to create an Inosuke costume that is both frightening and festive.

Unicorn Astronaut’s Inosuke cosplay, which was posted on Reddit, has a red, green and white color scheme with Santa Claus-inspired pants as well as candy cane swords that have wrapping handles made of paper. Completing the look is a huge sparkling Christmas tree that is set in the background.

The Christmasy costume is just one of many stunning costumes you can find on the Unicorn Astronaut’s Reddit. Other examples include Tsui, Deku, Todoroki and All Might from My Hero Academia, Vegeta, Trunks, Bulma and Broly from Dragon Ball and Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaibamanga Series written by KoyoharuGotouge was published from February 2016 until May 2020 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, producing 23 volumes of original content. The story revolves around Tanjiro who is a caring boy who lives in the mountains along with his family. But, his life changes forever when his parents are murdered by demons and his sister Nezuko becomes one.
The anime adaptation was created by Ufotable and Haruo Sotozaki, the director. The show premiered in April 2019. The series quickly became a fan favorite, and it went on to be awarded Anime of the Year, Best Boy and Best Fight Scene at the 2020 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba‘s second season debuted earlier this year in October.

Unicorn Astronaut’s Inosuke cosplay is among the latest fan-created characters for the series. Ceasar Ian Muyuela who is a digital illustrator, and Christian Gaarenstroom used shifting perspective to create an illusion of they were three-dimensional in their depictions of the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku as well as the Twelve Kizuki demon Akaza. Additionally, Ambassador and Consul General of Japan in New York Kanji Yamanouchi uploaded a cover of “Gurenge,” the iconic theme song from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,online to celebrate how anime builds “an important bond and a fantastic bridge between the American people and the Japanese people.”
Fans have been enthralled by the latest developments of the Demon Slayerfranchise. The show isn’t just adapting the Entertainment District arc however, new collectibles are also coming soon. Preorders are being accepted by Premium Bandai for Inosuke’s replicas of two Nichirin swords. The Good Smile Company sells 1/4-scale figurines of Kyojuro for an amazing $2,969.99 and Takara Tomy Arts offers a cute Demon Slayer-themed sushi car.
