Cosplay Artist Brings the Battle-Scarred Heroes to Life with Intense Bodypaint Imagination

Melissa Croft, a cosplayer and cosplayer, shows us how Deadpool or Spider-Man may appear like after a battle with each other using incredibly precise body paint.

Cosplayer Melissa Croft shared new images of two detailed bodypaint depictions of Marvel characters, Deadpool and Spider-Man.

Croft who is a cosplayer as well as a bodypaint artist from the UK posted two pictures of herself dressed as Spider-Man and Deadpool on Twitter. But both costumes were damaged in the midst of what appears to be a battle between them. In the caption, the artist asks her followers who they think was the winner of the battle: Deadpool or Spider-Man. Both costumes have identical injuries. There are small tears on the neck and upper chest and major tears that show the eyes and nose of the superheroes.

The Deadpool transition into the MCU was announced in the year 2019 many fans were hoping that the Merc with a Mouth would appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The rumors were debunked by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, but he did not completely eradicate the possibility. “We’re certainly having conversations about the future of these Fox properties,” he said at the time. “How to weave them into and when to weave them in. This, in particular, is not the case.”

Marvel Studios has not confirmed Deadpool 3’s plot or cast. Other than the return of Reynolds, the third entry in the series film will feature Jackman’s return as Wolverine for the first time since Logan in the year 2017. Reynolds has previously confirmed that Deadpool 3 will not conflict with the continuity of Logan, saying that the film of 2017 “takes the place of 2029. A completely distinct thing. Logan died in Logan. It’s not touching that.”

This will also be the first time that Reynolds’ Wade Wilson and Jackman’s Wolverine have appeared on screen together since X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. There are no other actors yet confirmed, including any potential crossover characters from the MCU however, the Deadpool 2 character Domino who is played by Zazie Beetz, is reportedly set to return.

Deadpool 3 is anticipated to be released in cinemas on November 8, 2024.
