The Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer is made into a reality in this flashy gender-swapped cosplay.
Nico Nico, a cosplayer who is a cosplayer, posted on her Instagram to show her Tengen Uzui costume. She also posted an image of her glamorous attitude and her costume. She’s pictured in a dark room, with her back in an action-packed pose, and holding the character’s now iconic weapons that are linked in a chain, two Nichirin blades, with LED lights adding some shine to the swords. For her hair of her, she sports a white wig with an eyepatch. It’s to reflect her current state of mind after fighting Gyutaro (and Daki) in the ” Entertainment District ARc.”

Nico also adds a unique twist to the outfit by changing the details and making the look more feminine. The open-chested shirt she wears makes it look like Uzui’s wife. She also wears a wrist cover to offset the character’s usually naked arms. To keep the fun going in the way she presents herself she also has fishnet stockings on. The costume, pose, and attitude make this a memorable cosplay version of the cult Demon Slayer character.
The blog post was well received, with commenters praising the cosplayer for her excellent attention to detail and for subverting the character’s traditional design. Who is Demon Slayer’s Tengen Umii?
Tengen Uzui is one of the members of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corp, and has a major role to play in the second season of the show also called the “Entertainment District Arc.” The character, along with his wives, helps the protagonist Tanjiro and his two friends, Inouske and Zenitsu to become Demon Slayers. They also take part in an action-packed showdown with an upper-rank demon.
The show is about a boy named Tanjiro who is a member of the Demon Slayer Corp after his entire family is murdered by the creatures, save for his sister Nezuko who has turned into one. As he fights the beasts Tanjiro seeks out a way to save his younger sister.
Demon Slayer is scheduled to return for the third season, known as the ” Swordsmith Village Arc.” The premiere episode, along with a revised version of the season’s final two episodes was released in theaters ahead of the premiere of season 3. The official debut of season 3 is set for April 9.
